I am pleased to host a guest blog from Dr. Andrew Neff, an Epilepsy Foundation board member who was kind enough to share this report on a recent Epilepsy Therapy Project Pipeline conference he attended in San Francisco.

The Epilepsy Therapy Project (ETP) hosted its annual Pipeline Conference in San Francisco to present and assess treatments currently in development for epilepsy and choose the $50,000 Shark Tank grant winner.  The 3 day event was well attended by influencers…

Did you know St. Valentine is considered to be the patron saint of epilepsy? True story.

Medicine and religion have long been intertwined, however medical practitioners were sometimes regarded skeptically in medieval times causing people to seek spiritual intervention for their illnesses.

In addition, brain disorders in the 14th and 15th centuries were widely regarded as supernatural phenomena incited by evil spirits or the devil.

Today was a great day for epilepsy awareness and for getting people energized about the 6th annual National Walk for Epilepsy! Our day at the National Office began with a visit from our passionate and committed Walk Council co-chair Matt Miller.

Would it be possible to obtain contact info for the father w/the video monitor #1 idea? My goal is to collaborate & get this product kicked off even if I can only be the cheerleader captain. I'm trying to avoid being in EMU again too! Gracie,  Lisa

Hello Lisa,

Thank you. I think I sent you a review copy about two weeks ago from my stash of books in the UK.  Let me know if you don't get it this week and I'll have one sent directly from the publisher in the US.  I'd love to hear your opinion on the novel.

Regards,

Terry
