I need help/support! My daughter Rochelle is 14 yrs old. She has type 1 diabetes, IGA nephropathy, high blood pressure, and was just diagnosed with Epilepsy a few weeks ago. She is devastated!!!! I am devastated. I feel so overwhelmed. I don't know what to do, where to turn. I don't know what to do next, and most importantly....I don't know how to help her cope. Please help me.... Anyone????

Hello all. My daughter moved back to the states from France and her doctor has perscribed Tegetrol. She was on Lamictal before (400 mg/day). I am not familiar with Tegetrol. Has anyone had/have experience, comments, about this drug?

I am awaiting a decision on my SSI. If I don't get to keep it I don't know what I am going to do. I have tried to hold jobs, but each time I cant stay there cause I have missed at least three of the five days . Obvious I can't hold a job so what will happen to me? Got any suggestions?

Its been a rough week to say the least. Been sick with this stomach bug I couldnt seem to shake off, so what do ya know... end up in the hospital. The neurologist in my hometown gave me huge doses of Anti-seizure meds through IV while I was there and wanted to increase my dose of Zonegran at home. She never even consulted my Neuro doc in Denver which made me angry! I called her when I got out and she didnt think we needed to, obviously the only reason I ended up there was cuz I wasnt keeping…

The people i was talking to told me they were anxiety attacks.....which is wrong because my dad just talked to my neurologist and said they are definitely seizures. so in a week she will tell me what exactally to do because she's on vacation. I've had 8 seizures this year both my hands were shaking and moving left to right, my face was also twitching, and my head was jerking up and down......after the last seizure i had a gigantic headache with hot flashes.

So, I don't plan on much sleep this week. That's bad, but I don't have much of a choice. :(

I'm gonna call and see if I can get the evening off work, so that will help some.



Earlier this week, we had a huge wind and dust storm. It wasn't quite as bad as parts of Eastern Washington, but it was still bad.

I'm missing a bit over 30 shingles off my roof now. :( And, the shingles will cost less than my insurance deductible, so .. I'm being crazy and repairing it myself.

You know what bugs me about TV, Radio, magazines ect? How they say what size you should be, How to do your hair What to wear ect. so now a day people that are normal waight are droping 10-20 pounds and hurting them self by doing that to make them selfs look better when all they are doing is looking scary skinny.

I'm not say that i don't have problums because i do. Because of these people i now worry about my waight look in the mirror and think i'm fat. the truth is i am 15…

Guess I should get back to blogging but that is not my forte.

We are still recovering from the latest crisis here with Ryan. Last week we think he ate something that caused him to vomit throughout the night. Took him to the E.R at 6:00 a.m. and then he went into status. I guess we were in the right place for a bad status event.

Ryan's neurologist thinks the vomiting could be seizure related. I really hope he is wrong about that because that was even more horrible then…

Well just got back from the Dr. today with a diagnoses of Poison Ivy. I didn't think it was that and thought it could be a drug reaction. Well it wasn't and I am itching like mad. One good thing happened today, I met Juanita, she is a very sweet and nice person, Here's a shout out to you. Well its 100am and I have to get up at six so I quess I need to get to bed.
