ALWAYS nice to hear from a fellow Texan!! ;D lol And I will gladly check to see if there are any support groups around Mansfield. Sadly, most of the support groups are either in Ft.Worth, or Dallas, or Houston. I know the one in Ft.Worth meets at Cook Children's Hospital, and they meet a whopping 4 times a YEAR! Sheesh! SOME ppl might need more support than that! I know the woman who runs that support group..Her name is Jaime Bankston. She is the one who actually was there when my son was dx'd w/IS, and she is the one who taught me to give a shot to my son. :/ NOT an easy thing to do. I'll tell ya that!! But yeah! Lemme do some checking, and I'll get back to ya.. Sound good?
GREAT hearing from ya!! OH, and there is a group, that my friend Connie started, for ppl in Texas. You might want to join that. OK..I was gonna give you the link, but I saw you had ALREADY joined!! LOLOL.. GREAT place to get together w/other ppl in our area and give support to each other. Us Texans have to stick together!!
So, I'll get back in touch w/you as soon as I find something out..
God Bless!!

Alexander Lodi said… Hi Robin,
You can always go to http://epilepsyfoundation.ning.com/group/eftx?xg_source=activity which is the foundation right in Texas where you live. I would call or write them directly and ask if their are any support-groups or organizations in your area.
I have two friends on here that live in Texas. You can friend both of them. Here are their details / links:

Let me know how you make out.
