You may think that most of corporate america has your best interests in mind, but your wrong.  You are a liability waiting to happen.  Most of your co-workers and even your managers probably like you and you like them also, but if you injure yourself or heaven forbid someone else or cause damage to property someone has to pay for it.  There in lies the liability.

The ADA has your best interests in mind and can protect you, but only so far.  The ADA says that the Company has to find…

Peter:
I've been on Tegretol since 1969 after my first GrandMAL at the age of 15.
I was on it till 1986 at age 32, my then neurologist took me off of it because she was worried
about my liver function tests. I told her "don't take me off of the tegretol, you'll be sorry".
Did she listen? NO. She took me off of it and I ended up with 9 GrandMALS a DAY for 1 week.
After the last one, I called my insurance agent and asked for the name of his wife's doctor.
I made an appointment and he put me back on the Tegretol immediately.
That was 25+ years ago, I've been GrandMAL seizure FREE ever since.
