My daughter's high school has also agreed to be involved and to work with the school community to get as many people to participate, in whatever capacity, as possible. I like the idea of being able to walk, run, cycle - whatever anyone wants to do. My mom, who is partially disabled, will be on her scooter! We have a beautiful bike trail in our community and I am hoping that we can use that, as that is my daughter's wish. Our entire family is excited for this event. We hope it will raise $$ to eventually find a cure for this life-altering condition. Jackie was diagnosed at five years old and has been challenged with seizures ever since. I continue to hope and pray for a cure, as do so many others.
