I now live in Athens, ga, and I would love to explain to anyone, about to go through the epilepsy surgery, why I think the epilepsy surgery was such a great surgery for me.

Well hello Barbara. Great to hear from a patients mother in Georgia. I went through surgery in Georgia at Emory Hospital, and that was really what helped me. The first, and one of the best neurologists in Georgia, is located in Dekalb County Ga. If you need any other information please email me at my own email address-howard.debbie@yahoo.com.
Comment by Barbara Sessions on March 15, 2012 at 1:30am Hi. I am new to the group and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Barbara and I live in Glennville. My youngest of 4 was diagnosed with Epilepsy a little over a year ago at the age of 6. His very first seizure, he went into Status and respiratory failure. His seizure activity lasted for over 3 days. He had to be put into a medically induced coma for 10 days to stop the seizing. We are currently on our 6th AED with some seizure control. Since then my husband and I have been working on starting a non profit foundation to help others find resources, ect. We would love to hear from anyone around the Savannah/Statesboro area. Thanks
New to the group hello GA!
