Music has gotten me through some really tough times I have people around me that really bother me so I figured out that when I am around them just to wear my i-pod and tune them out and therefore I won't have any problems. I am big into Country music and music from the 70's and 80's so have many songs I like but John denver is a favorite and his song "The gift you are".

Hi Emily. I agree about Wicked, great soundtrack. I worked at a major theatre for 7 years so heard enough soundtracks to sink a ship. Lol. Movie soundtracks, if John Williams or Carl Davis wrote it I most probably love it. E.T. Superman, Champions, Ladies In Lavender, I also love Michael Hoppé's soundtrack to the 1985 Gene Hackman film Misunderstood. I know from being a composer that the 2 major elements that are key to all of the above are shape and simplicity, as well as hearing the main motif several times in just a few minutes. With regards to TV themes, again I'm an oldies goldies fan: The Incredible Hulk, Cagney & Lacey, Dallas, Dynasty, Hill Street Blues. I'll even stretch as far as Knight Rider as it was a mainstay part of every Saturday night when I was a young child.

Hello Guy Stoker I used to play the piano. I lost the ability and now play the guitar.

I will definitely have to look into that album. Thank you for sharing that with us!!

Hi there. I have to fess up, I'm pianist, composer, singer/songwriter, but as for what is new I'm hopeless. I know Kathy Crinion has released an album called Ups, Downs, & Merry-Go-Rounds and I love every track on there.

Hey Jaime!

Just listened to that song. It is a good song.

I think you would also like Your Hands by JJ Heller. Check it Out and tell me what you think.
