Eugina we got up to 68 which was nice for a change but did have some seizure activity although it only lasted a minute or two it was still disappointing. Sure will be glad when it gets warmer here, were supposed to get rain tomorrow and the temps go back down but not as cold as they were. Had a lot of snow melt today so that was nice. Take care.

Because of the cold it is causing pipes to freeze so there was no fire but a leak in the pipes of an apartment that caused all the trouble and set off the fire alarms. No one was hurt except a couple of apartments got a lot of water damage. I sure will be glad when this cold weather is over.

Eugina,
Heat some water on the stove. No need to wash in cold water. Laundry, yes; you, no. Meanwhile, here near the shores of Lake Erie--now over ninety percent frozen over--not seizing, but freezing: temps have been hanging below twenty for days. But I'm not beefin'. It's only winter, and I've seen worse.

Tammi,
I hope all's well with you, although I know you've been through some rough times lately. Be glad those fire alarms weren't caused by fire; winter is no time to be left out in the cold by a burned-out building.

Last night we had fire alarms going off and no one could figure out what was going on until we found out a pipe had broken in someones apartment and somehow was affecting the fire alarm. But what was really bad was two peoples apartments got a lot of water damage and they were not too happy about that and can't say I blame them. Eugina it is very cold here too but getting better. Don't let people bother you with their remarks because to tell you the truth if you act like it doesn't bother you they will stop much faster because its not upsetting you and besides their remarks don't matter and they will pay for it one day.

Tonight some friends and I picked up a puzzle box and looked at the words written on it and than tried to find how many different words we could make out of the words on the box and had a great time so it can be done with just about anything or anyone just to pass the time away and is a lot of fun too. Hope you all are doing well we have a lot of flu going around because of all the cold but luckily have stayed pretty much seizure free.

From what I've been told, Chinese is an even more difficult language to learn with regard to pronunciation. Subtle changes in the way a word is said can change its meaning entirely.

Meanwhile, still seizure-free, but freezing: the temperature is below twenty right now, even with the sun out. How about you out in the big city? Keeping those seizures away?

Hey these games are fun and no one is putting anyone down just making suggestions because not everyone understands different languages.

Change the concept of the game(s) how? And I for one am not taking anything personal here.

I have no problem with your playing, Eugina, although it can get a bit confusing when you start throwing Spanish words in with the English ones on 'word search'. Not that big a deal, which is why until now, I haven't mentioned it.

I have fun here no matter who's playing. I wonder what makes you think that we aren't enjoying it when you participate?

You also said that we are confusing you. How? If it's me, I'd like to know; I don't want to confuse anybody. I doubt anyone else does, either. Clue us in.

James,
Above the box where comments are entered is a list of some of the games, but there are others as well. Click on 'view all', to see the whole pile--or at least the first page of them.
