that's a good question, kelly...i'm spanish and have not seen or heard of any epilepsy support in espanol...but if anyone knows of any, send it along :)

Hi!
Sorry...but the whole necklace thing was a bust. My friend who was making the necklaces got separated from her husband, and she told me it just wasn't a good time for her..but HOPEFULLY it will happen in the future. :/  BUT, I DO have another question for you. I have a friend who asked me to check into a support group in the Dallas area that speaks Spanish...Do you know of any?? Can you help point me in the direction I need to be? I would GREATLY appreciate this, as she is REALLY needing some support. I told her I would help her find SOMETHING. If you could PLEASE help me out with this?? THANK YOU!!

And I am going to go join right now, on facebook...
I was wondering if someone could help me with something... See, my friend is making these Cross Necklaces, out of horse shoe nails, and they have a leather string for the necklace part, and she is an old friend of mine..well when I saw the necklaces she was trying to sell on facebook, I asked her to make me one that was Purple for Epilepsy's Awareness color...So she asked me, if she could donate the money she receives from selling these purple Cross Necklaces in honor of my son Wesley, and she told me she would donate the money to the Epilepsy charity of MY CHOICE! I thought..WOW... I couldn't believe it!! The necklaces are very pretty, HAND MADE, and it would raise money for the cause..So ok..my question is: How can I get the EFTX involved, bc that is where I would want to Donate the money to... Can anyone help me with this??? I don't know how to proceed from here.. We almost have all the details worked out on her end, and I need to get busy on my end...I have interest in the necklaces just from asking friends and family to buy some, and getting the word out about them on another group I'm in on this site. Several ppl here have promised to buy one as well.. So, what do I do now? Should I speak with someone that works at the EFTX or what??

Please help!!! I REALLY want to help the cause,& I want the funds to go to helping TEXANS!!
Any suggestions or comments would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

The EFTX is fantastic.  They paid for my two years of business college without hesitation.  They had already seen my progress with my other two years in college and went ahead and paid for my other two years.  All I had to do was take the bus to college every day.  The EFTX is a fantastic group.  The Stroll in Houston was great back on April 20.  My husband and I both went to the event to give our support.

Im trying to see if theres anyone out there from houston who can help me understand how and what kind of help the epilepsy foundation can do to help me...i dont have transportation to go so im researching on how they are able to help someone whos epilepic and unable to afford insurance at this time.Once im able to get my vechicle fixed my plan is to get to the epilepsy foundation in houston...So if anyone has anything info or can help me,thank you!

I am completely new to not only this site, but the "world of epilepsy". My two year old son was just diagnosed. I currently live in WF Texas, and would love information about things going on, as well as if anyone has reccomendations for pediatric neurologists close bby!
