I haven't been here in a year or two. I received a msg. for artisits w/epilepsy to enter their artwork on line for viewing and a contest. I have developed hand tremors which have stopped my painting altogether. I painted in oil on canvas for years, and acrylics on various glass and wood. I may try some canvas, and let my hand do what it can. I sure miss painting. Don, your photography is great. Don M., good luck on the RNS and writing.

Doc Penovich says I'm a candidate for the RNS www.neuropace.com and if she's sold on it and thinks it will work for me, I've just about exhausted the medication route, have a VNS, will not consider neurosurgery for my own reasons and am pretty excited about the RNS. Am writing up a storm and the plan is to get three books out this year: Gift With a Price: Power of the Icy Flames: Unholy Resurrections Volume 2; The Brotherhood: A Secret Small-town Steroids Society; The Bloody Tines of the Gardener's Weed Claw: Jack 2, the Iron Range Ripper. Bought a new digital camera, but haven't gotten out too much with it.

Not working is allowing me to go out with my camera more. hope all are doing well and that my pictures will encourage others to become shutter bugs as well.

I had a job for a short time that kept me away from the room. My medium is photography more than anything else. I have some of my recent shot on my here. I would love everyone's thoughts. I have been told I should take my photography to more of a professional level. I am working on that now. I recently got some filter and have been working with them

Hi everybody, big doings in Don Miller's life. His book: Detour: A 40-Year Epilepsy Memoir, self published in 2014, is being made into an audiobook by ACX, it will soon be available on Amazon; Audible; and iTunes. I'll keep you updated on progress. I didn't write the memoir to make money, as crazy as that sound, I wrote it to advocate and educate about epilepsy. In 2014 sales were pretty brisk, in 2015 less so, now in 2016 with the audio-book, hopefully sales will pick up to meet or exceed the 20014 level. In the book I needed a way to bring epilepsy home to the common man/woman/3rd gender. I chose an automotive format; humans are all cars: the engine, the brain; the chassis, the body, and E people just have faulty electrical systems, epilepsy is couched to the people in car terms, chapter titles are automotive related. It is part memoir; part reference like Stephen E King's On Writing.

Ok guys it looks like no one has been here for a while but I was painting today and thought about it. One of my artist friends gave me some weird brushes I want to know if any of you have seen these or have ever used them and if so what are they for

Thanks Terry. Interesting thing is I too will have been 6 months seizure free, all being well, on Friday. Going to see Elton John in concert tomorrow night. Yey! :) x

Guy, I love the lyrics you wrote! I for one certainly can relate to them on many levels. Timothy, I like your paintings very much, especially the last one of the bird. I've been seizure-free for almost six months now, praise God! I'm working on some new paintings and trying to build up my inventory to do some shows in the near future if all goes well. May God bless you all!
