My son told me that during my recent seizure he found me fondling/playing with a piece of frozen chicken I removed from the freezer. On one occasion my wife found me powdering my feet with sugar. During one seizure I was found pouring milk on the kitchen table. Then using my arms to try to prevent it from falling off of the table. I believe the funniest had to be when my son and his brothers girlfriend were driving in the snow. Amanda said to Michael, look at that guy walking in the snow with no pants on. Michael took a close look and said THAT'S MY FATHER. They put me in the car and drove me home. Wish they got some of this stuff on camera. lol!!

Not to change this topic "Funny and Odd" as I really enjoy reading the stories, but is there a group just for us CP people?
Permalink Reply by Tony Murray on March 22, 2012 at 12:57pm I guess another story I can mention in this discussion would be about a seizure I had in middle school. I got up in the middle of the class and started to get undressed. I took my shirt off as everyone else in the room watched. I was told the teacher spoke to me but I just continued. When the teacher realized I wasn't going to stop she had one of the students go out of the room and bring back a male teacher. From what I was told, the male teacher entered the room as I opened my belt. I was then escorted out with no problems. It wasn't easy to sit in the same room with the same students for quite some time. Good side to it, no one from that class gave me any trouble the rest of the year.
One of the "benefits" about the absence seizures is that when I meet anyone within the company I had not met before, it's always "Oh, you're the one!" LOL

All they want to do is try and raise you like any child. What your going through with the parent daughter relationship sounds normal. Ask your friends and speak with your parents. Keep in mind they have more pressure and less answers than your average parents.
Permalink Reply by E on April 5, 2012 at 11:29pm Its good to hear Im not the only one who has had a VERY embarrasing seizure incident!! (lol) But I was a VERY lucky person when I was in high school. The kids never teased me about it. I also had an incident while I was in high school where put a lit cigarette (I quit smoking years ago, thank goodness) and tried to chew it up. The other kids saw what was going on and somehow got it out of my mouth.

You reminded me of a seizure I once had in wich I urinated in my kitchen trash barrel. I also had an issue in elementary school where I dropped my pants.
